Junior Event Manager

Job description:

As a Junior Event Manager at VinoKilo you will have the opportunity to be one of the front wheels of the operations team of the company. Preparing, running and co-running events are the main focuses of your job. On top of that, you will have the opportunity of finding new business opportunities and assisting in setting up operations processes.

Main tasks:

  • Organising events internationally
  • Working on systems and processes on maximising operational efficiency
  • Leading and managing
  • Working with in-house tools and software
  • Organizing logistic and supply chain systems
  • Finding new business opportunities

It would be nice to have:

Event Management Intern

Starting Date: ASAP

Location: Mainz

Job description:

As an Event management intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Operations dream team. You will be mainly assisting in preparation and running of the Vintage Kilo sale events (internationally). For this it is very important that you are also willing to work in during the weekends and travel around Europe.

Main tasks:

  • Helping with organising events in multiple countries
  • Working with systems and processes on maximising operational efficiency
  • Learning how to work with in-house tools and software
  • Helping the operational team organise logistic and supply chain systems
  • Supporting the team in finding new business opportunities

It would be nice to have:

    Branding / Creatives Intern

    Start date: ASAP

    Duration: full time / part time 

    Location: Mainz / Laubenheim 

    Compensation: TBD

    Job description:

    As a branding Intern at VinoKilo, you are part of a young and dynamic team managing, among other things, the functions of www.vinokilo.com and being responsible for showcasing our precious vintage clothes online.

    You will work hand in hand with the Creative Director and you will get your own areas of responsibility from day one. You will be developing an understanding of your colleagues tasks and work closely with other departments including marketing and operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Executing tactile tasks ranging from interior design, graphic design, photography.
    • Handling printing and organization / distribution for all creative 
    • Implementing - building, ordering, organizing event branding 
    • Regular testing and monitoring of the events branding and recognizing scope for improvement
    • Going to events bi-weekly 
    • Working closely with the operations team to communicate, co-ordinate branding requests for events.
    • Managing creative collaborators and developing relationships with creatives for content development 
    • Being proactive at recognizing needs and opportunities to develop a wholesome Vinokilo experience across all platforms i.e physical events, online store, social media and physical store. 
    • Experience in Adobe suite is a plus
    • Experience in Photography is a plus

    Social Media & Community Junior

    Starting Date: 15.01.2019

    Location: Mainz

    Job description:

    As a Social Media Junior you will be responsible for coordinating and executing the company’s social media strategy, working across key social media channels including Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat. In this position you will be able to get a hands on experience on digital media management, fashion marketing and event promotion by working closely with our marketing team and event management department.

    Main tasks:

    • Assisting in coordinating and scheduling a monthly social media calendar that drives engagement and conversions.
    • Strengthen our community of vintage lovers, act as the medium between our audience and the brand.
    • Work hand in hand with the marketing director in event promotions.
    • Travel to events Europewide, meeting collaborators and creating content for social media.
    • Assist in the creation of fashion editorials, photoshoots and branding content.
    • Communicating with creative collaborators: sourcing photographers, models, bloggers and artists that could contribute in creating content for our online presence.
    • Manage social media inbox.
    • Understanding and monitoring social media analytics.

    You have:

    • An interest in marketing, communications, social media or reputation management;
    • Writing skills.
    • Familiarity with key social media tools ( Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat).
    • Creative mindset and proactive attitude.

    E-commerce Intern

    Starting Date: 15.01.2019

    Location: Mainz

    Duration: 3 months internship with the perspective to grow into a junior position

    Job Description

    As an eCommerce Intern you will get to experience the wold of vintage online shopping straight from the source.

    You will be assisting our e-commerce team in making our vintage treasures available online and making sure they arrive safely to their new owners.

    Main tasks:

    • Stock management: manage deliveries, warehouse space, packaging and branding material
    • Assisting in labelling, pricing , sizing
    • Assisting in photoshoots and items uploads
    •  Order management: Packing / Shipping
    • Respond to customer queries

    What we're looking for:

    • Interest in online shopping, familiarity with online shopping platforms
    • Creative mindset and proactive attitude.
    • An eye for aesthetics, photography skills is a big plus.
    • Love for fashion and more love for vintage fashion.
