Events Branding Manager

Starting Date

Employment Type

Fulltime (40 hours per week)

Who are we?

We are Vinokilo.

We are a growing team on a mission to make secondhand fashion more desirable than new, fast fashion. Why? Because we believe fashion should be stylish and sustainable.

We are based in Bodenheim, a beautiful town in the middle of wine country, 12 km south of downtown Mainz on the edge of the Frankfurt Rhine-Main Region. Our proximity to the airport and our central European location makes us open to the world. As Logistics Manager, you would be responsible for the vinokilo event branding and the way events look and feel to our customers.

Your role at Vinokilo

As event branding manager, you would be responsible for managing the visual merchandisers. Your main responsibility would be to translate the feel and look of vinokilo, the values we live and the tone of our overall company branding into the events and subsequently our customers. You would play the link between the inhouse team and the on-the-field team, where information and experiences are shared in order to improve the events’ experience and raise the customer’s satisfaction level. You would be responsible for gathering intelligence from the visual merchandisers on field, to afterwards educate the inhouse team on the experience and customer interaction with our branding elements at the events. Additonally, you would be responsible for transmitting the overall company strategy and mission at the events, so the event branding complements the overall company branding.

One step at a time, you'll help our mission to make secondhand fashion readily available and help build the biggest secondhand fashion company in the world. This may seem like a wild statement, but it's more realistic with you on board because:

  • You will improve existing and create new branding elements for events
  • You will follow and transmit the overall branding strategy into our events
  • You will measure the success of new branding elements at our events
  • You will be able to create and lead a team of visual merchandisers.
  • You will gain on-field knowledge of the events to help you with the branding
  • You will help finalise the designs for events
  • You will co-create detailed floor plans for display areas of the events
  • You will set up measures that ensure tracking of success of new elements implemented at events and make data driven decisions that would improve customer experience
  • You will liaise with other departments (warehouse, logistics, events) in order to ensure cross departmental alignment
  • You will be monitoring costs and working within a budget
  • You will be researching lifestyle and design trends that will inform the event branding strategy
  • You will be researching and implementing sustainable materials for event equipment
  • You will ensure protection of the branding equipment
  • You will create processes to standardise branding quality at events

 You’ll love this role because:

  • You’ll be playing a leading role in the fight against fast fashion.
  • You are passionate about sustainability and secondhand fashion.
  • Your work will be meaningful, challenging, and will have a tangible impact on the future of Vinokilo.
  • You value long term profitability and sustainability over short term gains.
  • There is plenty of room for growth, for the company and the role.
  • You enjoy taking responsibility and calculated risks.

What you need to have:

  • 3 years of experience as a Branding manager or equivalent
  • Bachelors degree in Management / Graphic design or related field
  • Creativity
  • Visual communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Flexibility to ensure delivering products in timely manner
  • Organizational and planning skills
