We are based in Bodenheim, a beautiful town in the middle of wine country, 12 km south of downtown Mainz on the edge of the Frankfurt Rhine-Main Region. As Events Marketing Manager, you would be responsible for the vinokilo event marketing department and the promotion of our events.
Your role at Vinokilo
As Events Marketing Manager, you would be responsible for leading the events marketing team. This involves overseeing content creation for the events marketing team, as well as the online launches of events. This ties in with your responsibility of developing promotion strategies for events and overviewing the performance of ad campaigns. Your main goal would be to ensure that all of our event marketing reaches our customers, and that the events are populated with the right amount of customers.
One step at a time, you'll help our mission to make secondhand fashion readily available and help build the biggest secondhand fashion company in the world. This may seem like a wild statement, but it's more realistic with you on board because:
- You will head up the vinokilo event marketing team to deliver optimal performance and deliver on team and vinokilo metrics
- You will be responsible for building and restructuring the vinokilo event marketing department, and it’s strategy, tying it into the overall current vinokilo strategy
- You will support vinokilo by delivering on event and overall marketing goals, as well as supporting the vinokilo strategy through marketing processes
- You will oversee event website changes, design and up delivery
- You will develop a feasible event marketing strategy for the department and oversee its day-to-day implementation
- You will be articulating the vinokilo brand tone and voice on platforms (on and offline) to our current and potential consumers
- You will be in charge of executing event launches, changes, and edits on various vinokilo platforms
- You will ensure the department is digitally enabled to meet vinokilo needs, collaborations (across Europe and other potential markets) and focused on developing a memorable customer experience
- You will guide the event marketing team through a unified approach to customer service that meets vinokilo demands
- You will research and listen to trends in the market and direct the marketing research efforts of the vinokilo events and shops, while remaining aligned to our strategy
- You will manage the budget, controlling and allocating it within the scope of an integrated strategy,
- You will plan and organise marketing functions and operations (development of services, branding, communications etc.), and ensure they project the vinokilo tone and “voice”
- You will research, plan and execute marketing strategies for regionalization
- You will monitor marketing trends and keep a close eye on competitive services in the marketplace
- You will have the chance to build a diverse and highly efficient team of marketing, communication and business development professionals
- You will be responsible for ensuring that our marketing approach resonates with current and potential clients across different markets
- You will negotiate marketing and related contracts including PR, sponsorships, suppliers and marketing tools technology in line with our overall strategy
- You will be required to liaise with various members of operations team on a regular basis
- You will be responsible for editing, changing, overseeing and creating copy for ads, posts and captions
- You will be responsible for content creation and posting on various social media platforms
- You will be able to create, manage and execute paid ads and strategies on Facebook, Instagram, Tinder, Google and identifying other potential ad platforms

What you need to have:
- 5 years of experience in managing a marketing team
- 5 years of experience in digital marketing
- Experience in paid marketing
- Budget management
- Strong analytical skills
