Who are we?

We are Vinokilo.

We are a growing team on a mission to make secondhand fashion more desirable than new, fast fashion. Why? Because we believe fashion should be stylish and sustainable.

We are based in Bodenheim, a beautiful town in the middle of wine country, 12 km south of downtown Mainz on the edge of the Frankfurt Rhine-Main Region. Our proximity to the airport and our central European location makes us open to the world. As Events Marketing Manager, you would be responsible for the vinokilo event marketing department and the promotion of our events.

One step at a time, you'll help our mission to make secondhand fashion readily available and help build the biggest secondhand fashion company in the world. This may seem like a wild statement, but it's more realistic with you on board because:

  • You will head up the vinokilo event marketing team to deliver optimal performance and deliver on team and vinokilo metrics
  • You will be responsible for building and restructuring the vinokilo event marketing department, and it’s strategy, tying it into the overall current vinokilo strategy
  • You will support vinokilo by delivering on event and overall marketing goals, as well as supporting the vinokilo strategy through marketing processes

  • You will be articulating the vinokilo brand tone and voice on platforms (on and offline) to our current and potential consumers
  • You will be in charge of executing event launches, changes, and edits on various vinokilo platforms
  • You will ensure the department is digitally enabled to meet vinokilo needs, collaborations (across Europe and other potential markets) and focused on developing a memorable customer experience
  • You will guide the event marketing team through a unified approach to customer service that meets vinokilo demands
  • You will research and listen to trends in the market and direct the marketing research efforts of the vinokilo events and shops, while remaining aligned to our strategy
  • You will manage the budget, controlling and allocating it within the scope of an integrated strategy,
  • You will plan and organise marketing functions and operations (development of services, branding, communications etc.), and ensure they project the vinokilo tone and “voice”
  • You will research, plan and execute marketing strategies for regionalization
  • You will monitor marketing trends and keep a close eye on competitive services in the marketplace
  • You will have the chance to build a diverse and highly efficient team of marketing, communication and business development professionals
  • You will be responsible for ensuring that our marketing approach resonates with current and potential clients across different markets
  • You will negotiate marketing and related contracts including PR, sponsorships, suppliers and marketing tools technology in line with our overall strategy
  • You will be required to liaise with various members of operations team on a regular basis
  • You will be responsible for editing, changing, overseeing and creating copy for ads, posts and captions
  • You will be responsible for content creation and posting on various social media platforms
  • You will be able to create, manage and execute paid ads and strategies on Facebook, Instagram, Tinder, Google and identifying other potential ad platforms

 You’ll love this role because:

  • You’ll be playing a leading role in the fight against fast fashion.
  • You are passionate about sustainability and secondhand fashion.
  • Your work will be meaningful, challenging, and will have a tangible impact on the future of Vinokilo.
