We are based in Bodenheim, a beautiful town in the middle of wine country, 12 km south of downtown Mainz on the edge of the Frankfurt Rhine-Main Region. Our proximity to the airport and our central European location makes us open to the world.

The impact you will create at Vinokilo:

As a Recruiter, you'll get to work with our vibrant HR Team. You'll be in charge of collaborating with the department managers on a regular basis and proactively identifying future hiring needs. You'll ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline. With you on board we'll become the biggest secondhand fashion company in the world, which seems like a wild statement, but is more realistic with you on board because: 

  • You'll design and implement an overall recruiting strategy.
  • You'll develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
  • You'll perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives.
  • You'll prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards/newspapers/colleges etc. 
  • You'll source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, etc.
  • You'll screen candidates' resumes and job applications.
  • You'll conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule.
  • You'll assess applicants' knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes.
  • You'll onboard new employees so they become fully integrated.
  • You'll monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
  • You'll provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
  • You'll act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process

What we need you to have:

  • Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc.)
  • Ability to organize skills assessment centers
  • Familiarity with HR databases, such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
  • Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong decision skills
